Or bring tubes and slide down the lodge back yard hill. In summer, you can swim at the State Park Beach at Lake Sunapee, only five miles away. You can rent a boat at Sunapee Harbor to see the lake from the waterside, or take a walk on the Rails-to-Trails System in Newport.
